QBIT42 is built on a modular and technology-independent architecture. The platform can be deployed in different environments: in the cloud with international or European providers, in a private cloud, in an organization's own data center or in completely isolated environments without an internet connection.
A distributed architecture is also possible. In this setup, the platform, language models and data can operate at different locations. With QBIT42 Edge Locations, for example, data can remain locally within an organization's own data center, while the information required for processing is transferred to an externally hosted model through a secure connection.
Organizations can also combine different language models: locally hosted models for sensitive use cases and more powerful cloud models for particularly resource-intensive tasks.
Which models and connections are permitted can be individually controlled through the platform's permission system.
The result is an architecture that adapts to an organization's IT strategy – rather than forcing the organization to adapt to the technology.
